JEMBI/UEM-MOASIS participates at 5-day DHIS2 Tracker Academy in Maputo, Mozambique

On the week of October 10th, 7 technical staff from Jembi/UEM-Moasis attended the DHIS2 Tracker  Academy convened by the University of Oslo in collaboration with the University Eduardo Mondlane.

Maputo, Mozambique  – October 2016  – On the week of October 10th, seven technical Staff from Jembi/UEM-Moasis joined the DHIS2 Tracker academy organized by the University of Oslo in collaboration with the University Eduardo Mondlane. The technical staff  included implementers, developers and health information system specialists involved in the national roll-out of the M&E system (SI-M&A) for the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Affairs based on DHIS2 funded the United States Agency for International Development as well as maintenance and support of the national M&E system (SIS-MA) of the Ministry of Health also based on DHIS2 funded by PEPFAR-CDC.

DHIS2 is a open-source information system that allows parameterization for data collection, management and visualization with features including GIS, charts and pivot tables.  This particular specialization course covers all aspects of DHIS2 tracker; the feature set in DHIS2 supporting event and patient (tracked entity) level data.
