Overview

Mozambican Open Architecture Standards and Information Systems (MOASIS), created in September 2008, is an initiative of Eduardo Mondlane University supported by Jembi Health Systems. MOASIS is specialized in the area of ​​Information Systems for the health, social action and justice sectors and its main objective is to support and strengthen the area of ​​Information Systems, interoperability and data exchange between systems in Mozambique for the public, private and academic sectors applying national and international norms and standards.

The MOASIS projects are funded by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), USAID, Terre Des Hommes, Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, World Health Organization (WHO), Twinning Center, Rockefeller Foundation, International Research Center for Development (IDRC), Health Informatics Public Private Partnership (HI-PPP) and central funds of Jembi Health Systems.
