Cape Town, South Africa – November 2014 – Jembi CEO, Prof Chris Seebregts and Jembi Mozambique Program Director, Dr Alessandro Campione, recently returned from London, where they participated as part of an international expert panel in a two-day review of plans to strengthen Malawi’s HIV data systems and capacities at the invitation of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and the United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).

The meeting will be followed up with future virtual and face-to-face meetings and result in a comprehensive plan for strengthening HIV data management and linking to effective decision-making as well as strengthening other aspects of the system, including integration and interoperability between individual systems, capacity and data use.
