Jembi/UEM-MOASIS delivered Paper Instruments to the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Affairs

Jembi/UEM-MOASIS carried out the delivery of more than 70.000 Records and 600 Registration Books to the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Affairs (MGCAS), to be used nationally under the Information Systems for Monitoring and Evaluation Project – SI-M&A, developed in partnership with Jembi.

Maputo, Mozambique – October 2018 – The official delivery of Paper Instruments under theInformationSystems for Monitoring and Evaluation Project (SI-M&A) was held last 28th of September.

Jembi/UEM-MOASIS Team and the National Directorate of Planning and Cooperation (DPC), represented by the Head of the Planning Department – Dr. Ângelo Tivane – attended the ceremony, where more than 70.000 Records and 600 Registration Books were delivered, for later distribution at a national level.

These instruments, developed in partnership with Jembi in the last 3 years, represent the first standardized Information System to include all the necessaries variables for monitoring at a Local (starting at the Social Units), District, Provincial and National levels, the vital indicators from the industry and instructions for use. They will be filled by the Social Units and District Services for Health, Women and Social Action (SDSMAS), with the final objective being the insertion of the data collected into the Electronic System of SI-M&A.

It should be noted that the SI-M&A, developed by the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Affairs (MGCAS) with technical support from Jembi/UEM-MOASIS and financial support from USAID financial from 2013 to 2018, has been expanding in nationally, being already present in all the provincial capitals and all districts of Maputo Province.
