Dr. Alessandro Campione has played an integral role on the Jembi Cape Town team since mid-2010. He predominantly coordinates Jembi’s Mozambique programme, MOASIS.
Alessandro also serves as technical advisor on PEPFAR and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) funded programmes to the Ministry of Health in Mozambique.
Prior to his work in Mozambique, he served as a senior public health expert to the Italian government’s ministry of foreign affairs where he supported the Mozambican National Health Information Systems department. He has also worked as medical doctor in public health and as an NGO country representative in India, Chile, Brazil, Angola, Namibia, Ethiopia and Afghanistan.
