Jembi Health Systems has been approved as a member organization of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) International – a standards development organization (SDO).
Cape Town, 14 August 2013 – Jembi has recently been approved and accepted as a member organization of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) International, which enables Jembi to participate in an active and growing volunteer-led non-profit entity with over 200 member organizations from across the globe
Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) is a standards development organization (SDO) that produces standard profiles which allow health information system to interoperate for specific use cases. Jembi’s acceptance means that it at can at any time designate representatives to each IHE domain committee on which it wishes to be represented, and make valuable contributions to committee forums and various decisions needing to be made. Jembi is currently represented by Ryan Crichton (Senior developer) on the IT Infrastructure Technical committee.
