Jembi lead developers jets-off to Chicago

Cape Town, South Africa, January 2013 – Ryan Crichton and Hannes Venter, two of Jembi’s senior developers, along with Shahid Khokhar of the Regenstrief Institute, will be travelling to Chicago in the last week of January to participate the in the IHE North American Connectathon 2013.

This international event is an opportunity for the Jembi/Regenstrief team to test the interoperability of our OpenHIM System and conformance to IHE Profiles: standards-based specifications for data exchange.  These profiles are one of the cornerstones of achieving health IT interoperability, enabling the exchange of clinical data to meet real-world healthcare needs.
