Cape Town, South Africa – 26 November 2014 – The University “Bocconi: was established in Milan in 1902 and became the first Italian institution of higher education to grant a degree in economics. The SDA Business School of Management hosted an internship day, where Jembi Program Director, Dr. Alessandro Campione and Jembi Mozambique Programme Assistant, António Macheve Jr, were invited to present Jembi’s south-south-north model of cooperation with country programmes, projects and activities. The presentation was conducted via a teleconference call where 32 students coming from 15 different countries and 4 continents attending the Master of International Health Care Management, Economics and Policy (MIHMEP) faculty directly interacted with Dr Campione and Mr António Macheve Jr.
Jembi is an official host organization for interns coming from the MIHMEP programme of the SDA Bocconi School of Management. The purpose of Internship Day is to allow host organizations for internships to give a presentation to this year’s MIHMEP students about their businesses and the concrete internship opportunities within their respective organizations.
The average age of the class is 29 years, with a majority of students having significant professional experience both in private and public healthcare institutions. There are several students with PhD titles and many of them already obtained Master degrees in different fields.
