The joint Jembi Health Systems/Ministry of Health RHIE team have successfully setup and connected the Karenge Health Centre to the Health Information Exchange in Rwanda (RHIE)
Kigali, 2 August 2013 – Today the RHIE team have successfully installed and configured the OpenMRS server at Karenge Health Centre and officially connected it to the Rwandan Health Information Exchange (RHIE). Taking the bull by the horns the team have managed to run a number of activities in parallel, moving ahead of schedule by picking-up and preparing the Avega and Gishali Health Center Servers for the RHEA installation.
Looking ahead, the RHEA team plan to finalizing the Avega and Gishali Server configurations on Monday (5 August 2013), return them to site to finalize their connection to the RHIE.
This stellar work by the RHEA team means that the project is set to deliver all four sites for RHIE installation and server setup ahead of schedule.
